December Highlights

December was a very busy month in Kindergarten!

We got together with our 5th Grade Buddies to make candle wreaths. We displayed them in the hallway for the holiday season.

In December, we had two Stars of the Week!

We spent December discussing different customs and traditions celebrated during the holiday season.

We even made crowns so we could be kings and queens of England!

Jeslyn's mom visited Kindergarten to make candle wreaths.

We learned about St. Lucia Day, a Christmas celebration in Sweden.
Aryan's mom visited both Kindergarten classes to read a Christmas story.

Jini's dad taught us about Christmas traditions in Ireland.

Phoebe's dad taught us about Hanukkah.
The Dreidel game

At our Winter Party, we enjoyed making snowman wreaths and playing games!

Mr. Howell was our Surprise Reader for the 60th Day of School! Michael was very surprised!

Continuing our exploration of holidays around the world, we learned about Las Posadas, a Mexican Christmas tradition.
